Quote of the Day
" Watercolor is temperamental, the paint is transparent so you can not just paint over it to fix errors. Once the paint is absorbed into the paper thats it! That is what I love about it, the challenge keeps me interested. It is a meditation with paint, water and color.

Very nice... I have never been very good at watercolor. I layer too much, so I prefer my acrylics. Doesn't stop me from appreciating the work of others. I love this painting of Tofino Beach.
ReplyDeleteI often do up to 3 or 4 layers of paint on a watercolour painting. It is very different than acrylics I agree. Thanks for commenting Stephanie.
