The Birth of a Watercolour Still Life

I have always enjoyed the art of still life. To me it captures a moment in time, an essence of a day or a historical moment. Still life"s tell a story. This is my first still life I have done in watercolour so I have learned a few tricks and will now use them to paint a few more.
