My Adventure with Poured Watercolour

I had the pleasure of taking a weekend workshop recently with Leslie Redhead learning the technique of pouring watercolours. When I looked at poured watercolours I thought that they must be so hard and challenging. Leslie is such a fantastic teacher that she demonstrated the process clearly and in a fun way. The whole class did the same painting and it was exciting for me to learn a new technique. I came home from the class feeling ready to paint some of my own images and I immediately started a new series called, "Summer Days, Travels and Memories. Here are a few of the paintings from my recent series.
